| Description |
The goal of Peacekeepers is to prevent violence among youth in the Hunters Point neighborhood of San Francisco. In order to achieve its goals, Peacekeepers provides various services and activities, including: academic tutoring and study hall, leadership training, group, individual and family support groups, gender specific support groups and life-skills training, nutrition classes, training and employment in Gardening and Landscaping at the Double Rock organic farm, and supervised Friday Night Outings. |

| Results / Accomplishments |
Since Peacekeepers was established, the Hunters Point neighborhood has experienced a 100% reduction in rape, an 11% reduction in aggravated assault, and a 60% reduction in marijuana offenses. |
