Description Feed The Hungry provides 3 nutritious meals a day, 364 days a year to the San Francisco's poor, homeless and hungry. With the help of 30 kitchen and security staff and thousands of volunteers each year, meals are served at no cost to guests. Special meal services are offered during the holidays. A separate time for breakfast is reserved each morning for seniors and women participating in GLIDE's domestic violence recovery program.
Goal / Mission Feed The Hungry aims to fill your body and soul with a nourishing meal in an atmosphere of respect, acceptance and love.
Results / Accomplishments In 2011, GLIDE served 934,000 meals. An average of 2,560 meals are served daily.
