Goal / Mission The goal of the Geriatrics Initiative is to make healthcare more accessible and of higher quality for the elderly population served by Charleston Area Medical Center.
Results / Accomplishments Three training programs for healthcare professionals are active. In 2010, one geriatric pharmacy resident, two geriatric medicine fellows, and six geriatric post-master's nursing students graduated the training programs.
